Being
raised on the Big Island (that's Manhattan, not Hawaii) was both a blessing
and a responsibility. My New York City roots taught me to value diversity,
tell the truth (New York cabbies have this honed), and always carry
exact change. Living in Boston and Seattle led me to appreciate
chowder, improvisational
comedy (I did stand-up once), eternal rain, and my own spirituality. I now reside
in Los Angeles, having traded my original, native skyscrapers for the world capital of plastic surgery. When I'm not coaching, I'm
salsa dancing, painting, playing my keyboard, listening to jazz, doing
yoga, spiritual exploration or traveling. I have explored a wide range
of interests from movement therapy, handwriting analysis and sacred
aromatherapy to watercolor and classical music. I speak some German.
Someday this will come in handy.
My friends, who
are wonderful and impeccable mirrors of truth, consider me clear, creative,
direct, loving, and generous. I am drawn to people who model authenticity,
high integrity and values. I favor honesty over being "nice."
I believe the hardest thing is to be who you really are, that each of
us has innate wisdom and gifts. Coaching is my vehicle for helping you
bring all that you are forward.
